Secondary STEM through App Inventor

Students are guided through the 'App Creation Process' which equips them with basic programming knowledge and the following key programming concepts:

• Event handlers

• Variables

• Conditionals

• Loops

Students use their acquired programming knowledge and the Quantum Victoria Design Thinking Framework to design and create their own apps using MIT App Inventor block programming.

Places are limited with a maximum number of 10 Year 7 - 8 students per school.

This event is free for Victorian government schools, funded by the Department of Education.
