3D Modelling and Design using Tinkercad
This experience consists of either two synchronous lessons taught by Quantum Victoria, followed up with the online program to review and extend their skills; or schools can book the online program on its own.
3D Modelling and Design using Tinkercad is available through the following program types. Select a program type to view more information.

This online module provides students with an opportunity to review the skills they developed during the synchronous lessons and explore ways of designing 3D models with greater efficiency.
It can also be used as a standalone program without the sync lessons thanks to the embedded video demonstrations and step by step instructions.
Students will (re)visit Tinkercad and learn or review skills such as:
Tips/Shortcuts
Importance of Precision
Print Considerations

Synchronous (with Quantum Victoria)
The two Synchronous sessions (delivered sequentially) provide students with a basic understanding of Tinkercad allowing the students to apply the newly acquired knowledge and skills to a range of challenges designed to extend their learning.
Level 1: This 60 minute lesson will teach students the basic skills of Tinkercad. They will learn 5 tools and complete challenges for each tool to develop their skills.
Level 2: This 60 minute lesson will build on the skills developed in Level 1, and challenge students to solve more complex problems as the students think about how the tools affect the shapes.
The challenges are designed to address the problems students face when designing in a digital 3D space.
An online module complementing the synchronous program is available for your students to review and extend their skills.
