definition of matrices
different types of matrices
matrix operations
transition matrices
using first-order linear matrix recurrence relations to model a range of situations and solve related problems.
General Mathematics Unit 4 AOS 2 – Networks and Decision Mathematics
Students will revise and test their knowledge in networks and decision mathematics through the following chapters:
definition of undirected and directed graphs,
representations of eulerian trails/circuits and hamiltonian paths/cycles
using networks to model and solve problems involving travel, connection, flow, matching, allocation and scheduling.
