Students cover the definition and representation of different kinds of undirected and directed graphs, Eulerian trails, Eulerian circuits, bridges, Hamiltonian paths and cycles, and the use of networks to model and solve problems involving travel, connection, flow, matching, allocation and scheduling.

This unit is composed of two different modules that can be completed individually (approximately 4 hours each). The modules include:

Students will review networks and decision mathematics through the following chapters:

Graphs and networks
Exploring and travelling problems
Trees and minimum connector problems

General Mathematics Unit 4 AOS 2: 4.2 - Networks and Decision Mathematics (part 2)

Students will review networks and decision mathematics through the following chapters:

Shortest path problems
Matching problems
Scheduling problem and critical path analysis
