Students explore the fundamentals of programming through the use of Lego robots.

This program utilises Lego Spike software in a hands-on, challenge-based approach.

Students are introduced to programming concepts in a way that is engaging, accessible, and fosters skills such as:

  • problem-solving

  • algorithmic thinking

  • working collaboratively

On-Site at Quantum Victoria

Students explore different aspects of block-based programming with Lego Spike robots. They alter variables and values within command blocks to control motors for their robot to execute precise movements and actions.

The aim is to navigate through multiple self-paced challenges, each designed to encourage creativity and flexibility in student problem-solving. The challenges in a disaster rescue scenario foster resilience as students are required to plan for program and adjust commands based on the observed actions of their robots.
